    Audio crackles when watching Crunchyroll


    Whenever I watch something on crunchy roll my audio crackles. I have tried looking this up in the past and trying the suggestions on similar posts but still my audio crackles. I wear headphones when watching since my monitor doesn’t have built in speakers

    Hi Bryan!

    What exactly is your Xbox console model?
    Are you using a wireless headphone or it's a wired one connected to your controller?

    To further isolate the issue, have you tried using a different headset?
    What steps have you already tried so far? Have you tried to perform a factory reset?

    Same here. The sound is similar to a bitrate mismatch.

    Mine doesn't start right away. After binging for an hour or two it starts and gets more and more consistent.

    It's also not always on the same side of the stereo image. I think there's some sort of bitrate mismatch happening when the stream is being decoded.

    I am on an Xbox series s and I am using a wireless headset but this still happens when using a wired headset. I have also tried a simpler reboot along with a factory reset but the issue still continues.
