    Why can’t I join ONE of my friends in any game!!??


    For years now (4 years) me and only one of my friends and this works both ways we cannot play any games together unless we join off of one of our other mutual friends, but when it’s just me and him we simply can’t do it it’ll just unable to join or session no longer available. I need this fixed

    I'm sorry you are experiencing any trouble right now. No worries, I'm here to help you. If I may ask, may I know which platform are you using to play with your friends, is it an Xbox Console or Windows PC?

    If it's on the Xbox app please do the following steps:

    Solution 1- Check the Network Connection:

    Sometimes, it can happen that due to a weak network connection, the party chat gets interrupted in between and it stops working on your PC.

    If you are connected with Wi-Fi and still encounter Windows 10 Xbox app party chat not working issue then try the other solutions.

    Solution 2 - Troubleshoot multiplayer connection issues:

    Here are some troubleshooting tips to help with any multiplayer connection issues:

    1. Please make sure Windows 10 is up to date.

    2. Open the Xbox App on your PC and navigate to the settings button.

    3. Click the Network tab and let it run its cycle.

    3. Once its complete, you will see your Xbox Multiplayer NAT type and Server connectivity

    Please double-check and let me know the NAT-type results on your end. Also, may I have the exact error message if the issue still persists.

    If it's on Xbox console,

    Please do a hard reset and power cycle. Hold down the power button on the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down and then remove the power cable from the Xbox and the power outlet for about 5 minutes. Then re-connect and turn on the Xbox.

    Also, try rebooting your modem/router.

    If the issue persists, try removing your Xbox profile from the Xbox and re-downloading it.
