xbox series x not staying on hotspot

I understand you need help on your connection problem.

Just a heads up, playing on a hotspot is not really that stable since you are using your mobile data and there could be some interruptions with the connection and NAT type might not be opened.

Anyway, you can check your network settings as well for this to figure out what is wrong. Your friend's mobile data must be providing good and stable connection than your moblie data.

You can also compare them by checking network statistics.

But, I do not really recommend using mobile data most especially when playing multiplayer since it is not that stable than playing through Wifi set up.

Sounds like you have an unstable connection

Hotspots aren't really designed for gaming especially broadband

The signals fluctuate too much

You can use a hotspot but you will have issues with NAT and latency

Keep in mind speedtest should.be done for signal.strength

Remember next gen consoles need a lot of bandwith so it's not recommended for a permanent connection

Broadband solutions have more consistent signal unlike cellular which is dependent on the signal traffic so if you are in a congested area you aren't going to have fun

After using the guide if you still have issues it's best to goto your carrier for support

Keep in MIND not all plans allow for hotspots and sometimes require an additional.fee

MVNO and discount providers sometimes charge for using a hotspot

Please contact your provider to check on this and no there isn't any way around it if they require a fee as ita carrier dependent services

This is why you download carrier services on your phone on occasion for example my carrier only recently supported my phone a fold.4 unlocked for a LTE+ unlike carrier phones which already support it with no 5g yet since I'm on a discount carrier but I pay 55 bucks for 50 gigs
