    Am I going about Dev mode wrong?


    Before being able to access Dev mode I see that I am supposed to purchase a microsoft partner license. I have been trying to do so, and it has been taking me through dragged out process and having me upload documents to prove I have an organization, which I don't. I am just trying to buy one so I can run an emulator with Dev mode... I feel like I am doing something wrong. Help?

    emulators are not allowed on Xbox except as part of official, commercial products like Rare Replay. if you are not actively developing software, which you are not, you're not allowed to use a dev mode. Using dev mode to run pirate software can lead to account and hardware bans.

    Error code 2006 usualy indicates your system is not fully updated

    I'm afraid you'll need to contact the dev mode people about any troubles you're having, we have no ability to look at your account or anything to do with money
