Recovery of hacked xbox/microsoft account

Hi There,

I would like to know how you go about recovering from a hack on an Xbox account ? this is on behalf of a friend who has just had this done to him.

The status is that his account was hacked, he recovered it via changing his password twice but on the third hack he was advised that his account was deleted via email.

So the email account he registered his account is now gone.

You can't recover your password without email/account name

You can't start ACR process as the account is no longer there

You basically can't do anything or follow any of your steps to recover the account.

He has tried all the steps online but nothing gets you anywhere and you can't speak to anyone so what's the solution ?

His account details must still be there just not linked to his email/username as he is still getting notifications from his account. I was also under the impression that any deleted account had a wait time of 30/60 days in order to recover it.

Now there must be some where or somebody you can contact and give them email/username/XBOX hardware ID send passport photo to verify ..... something ? As as it stands right now Microsoft is letting hackers take over accounts and when specific pieces of information are changed the original owner can not recover it using your processes.

How is this acceptable ? thousands of pounds in games registered against this account are going to be lost.
