Fortnite: Code redeemed but v bucks aren’t showing on Xbox console

Consumable items or in-game purchases have a timeframe of 24 hours for them to reflect automatically within the game. Sometimes it would show up immediately and sometimes it would show up within a few hours from purchase. But you can try logging out, power cycle your console, then logging back in to refresh your account on the console. When you say that they are "not showing up on fortnite on our Xbox One" it leads me to a question. Did you redeem these codes on the account that is trying to use them. The V-bucks would be tied to an account, not an Xbox console.

Give the gift card code to your friend.
