    Idea to add the ability to save wifi passwords for when moving an Xbox back and forth to houses


    I know many of us have been through it. Having to re-enter a wifi password every time we bring our Xbox to say a family members house. It's mildly annoying, we all know it. Xbox adding the ability to save wifi passwords would have virtually no downsides. For example, when I go to visit my grandparents, I bring my Xbox, and have to re-enter the same wifi password. Same for my aunt and uncles house, and other family members, cousins, etc. And for those who don't know how to change their wifi password so it's easy to remember, this can be an annoying process. Just make save wifi password a check able option below when entering the password. I feel like it would help many of us out a ton

    Saving wifi passwords

    The Xbox One automatically saves the Wi-Fi password of the access point it's currently connected to.

    If you mean saving the passwords of multiple access points, for example like bringing your Xbox back and forth to a friend's house, then it doesn't do that (as far as I've checked).

    BTW just to add a little to this my save wasn't corrupted or deleted I played the game fine at my house with my characters still there didn't have Xbox live at the time, I made a live account one day when playing then went offline to move my Xbox and it
    was all gone. Tried to connect back to live and sync the saves but it said no save data found and that I could recover my characters through battle net but I have no idea how to do that.

    You can play on both Xbox and PC with the same account and the save moves back and forth. Are you logging into the PC and game pass with the same account as the Xbox?

    I have two wifi networks in my house. I tried switching back and forth and now it's finally working. I'm not sure what caused the problem but it is working now, thanks so much for your help.

    Yes. You can download the gamertags to both consoles and switch back and forth whenever you want. You'd have to use the cloud service or something like a flash drive to move game saves back and forth though.
