Why cant I download the Xbox Console Companion app?

Im in the Microsoft Store and waiting for that icon appear but it fails to do so. It´s always grey and there is notging I can click on. Please help I have this problem for weeks now. This problem appears mostly when I want to download the Xbox Console Companion app.

The consul companion is a Windows 8 app that is no longer supported just like the windows eight operating system.

Since windows 10 launched, you've been intended to use the Xbox app built into windows for game streaming

Please download the Xbox app and the console companion app, try to download the game from the Xbox app

I have tried both steps but nothing worked. In xbox app i am still getting flashing screen and in companion app i am getting this error " we couldnt sign you in to xbox live. The system cant find the file specified" and one thing xbox console app is of 40- 50 mb but it downloads instantly i have tried reinstalling it but still it downloads instantly

You could also use the console companion app to download your videos to your computer, that's what I do... here is a link to the app.
