    i bought 2x50 windows store cards only to discover one of the cards silver strip came away and made the code unreadable... 2 nd card - have to activate it, by that i mean u have to ring the retailer to be told its xbox live u have to talk to, then only to
    be handballed back to retailers - NEVER again will i buy one of these cards and am dissapointed in the runaround just to get my credits/currency for xbox apps etc

    Just a few questions to see if I can come up with some solutions to help you.

    Is the whole code unreadable or just partly?

    Did you purchase the gift card from a large retailer?

    In these situations it’s very unlikely there is anything support will be able to do as there is no way of verifying the gift card other than it’s unique code.
