1. What platform are you playing (Xbox Console, PC or phone)?
   
2. If you Windows, what is the current version and edition of Windows Installed?

have you downloaded the xbox app to your computer, and with the controller plugged in reboot the computer, the controller should show up in your devices under settings

You can easily download/update this driver for Windows 8 and 10 using the Xbox app.

1- Download Xbox Accessories app

2- Once downloaded,
install to update controller drivers
