Logitech g27 not working on windows pc xbox app (forza)

I have a Logitech g27 wheel that currently works on steam, I can’t get it to work on the Xbox app to play forza horizon 4. How can I get it to work? When I try search for answers to this question I’m only getting answers for Xbox one but I am playing on a windows 11 “COMPUTER” using “XBOX APP”

I got an Xbox just for the Entertainment side, but have bought some games including the Forza games. As a PC gaming nut, I have a G27 and Playseat and I must confess to being frustrated that it doesn't work on Xbox One. Surely a Win:Win approach would be
for MS and Logitech to get their heads together and make kind of Logitech Steering Pack app available and sell it in the store. As an owner of Xbox One and of Windows PC with G27, I would be prepared to buy such a thing if I could play Forza on my G27. What
isn't going to happen... Me buying a new (inferior) wheel just for the Xbox one.. why would I? I have the best wheel there is.

I apologize for the confusion, and thank you for clarifying that you are not using cloud gaming. It's possible that there may be compatibility issues between the Logitech G27 wheel and the Xbox app on Windows 11. Here are some additional steps you can try:

Make sure that the Logitech G27 wheel is selected as the default controller in the Windows 11 Settings. To do this, go to "Settings" > "Devices" > "Connected Devices" > "Add a device" and select "Logitech G27 Racing Wheel."

Try using a different USB port on your computer to connect the Logitech G27 wheel.

Check if there are any updates available for the Xbox app on the Microsoft Store, and install them if there are.

Uninstall and reinstall the Xbox app on your computer, and see if that resolves the issue.

I have done that but nothing seems to work. The g27 is working on the steam app but not on windows Xbox on pc. Also the controler doesn’t show up at all on forza controler settings

Hi there. There is no “devices and streaming” option

Update device driver

In the search box on the taskbar, type device manager and select Device Manager.

Select a category to see device names, then right-click (or press and hold) the one you'd like to update.

Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

Select Update Driver.

If Windows can't find a new driver, you can try looking for one on the device manufacturer's website and following their instructions.
