Can I change an Xbox account email such that the account would be on another email adderss?

When adding an alias to all items, progress will continue on your account, however if you add a new alias it does not delete the previous one, keep it in the account, this is because if you have linked games from another platform such as Epic, Ea etc they will be linked to yours and old email and not the new one.

if there are two xbox live accounts connected to the same email adderss (Microsoft Account) I advise to contact Xbox Support, so they can double check and help determine what steps are best to take.

YOu might have to move one of the accounts to a different email address (MS account) to sort the issue, but to be sure have Xbox Support make that decision.

He already understood that he could change it and yes all you can do is change the email but it will affect his parents skype and office subscriptions if he changes the email to his email and takes off their email from the account they would no longer
be able to sign into their skype and office info with their email. I never said he couldnt change the email I said that there is no way to move a xbox profile from one MS account to another.

I don't think its possible to do this because each gamertag is attached to a unique ID which is your email. Therefore, you would have to either continue using the old account if you would like to keep your email or start a brand new Xbox Live account with
a new email.

You can check this link on how to change an email that's associated with your account, but

Email addresses and phone numbers that are already an alias on another account can’t be used.

You can contact xbox support and they can probably verify you and unlock the parental controls. The email is probably still existing since xbox would have to change the xbox account email address. You can see who the email account is under by going to account,
then to account security. You can change the email once you can get/ replace the email/password. If the email is truely gone, then you must contact microsoft/xbox support and get them to verify you're account and change the email address. I hope this helped
