Doom Eternal campaign won't download on Series X

I own doom Eternal and the year 1 pass on Xbox series x. When I try to reinstall the game the campaign/ancient gods 1-2 won't download. When I launch the game and try to play the campaign, it asks me to install the campaign again. Then the campaign/ancient gods just sit in the queue section in my games list. It just says "queued" for all three 10.1mb files. It NEVER downloads, Just sits there forever. What do I do to fix this? I tried reinstalling but they just sit in the queue and don't do anything. Please help!

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work we may need to perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

Obsessive Power

Pretty sure they're not using Vulkan on Xbox.

How they run depends on what console you're using. On Series X they're excellent, and Doom Eternal even has raytraced reflections on the Series X hardware. The RT can drop the FPS to just below 60 occasionally, but it's largely flawless.

On the now older Xbox One S their resolution is limited to around 900P, but they run much smoother and in higher res on the One X and Series X.

If you've got a Series X, Doom 2016, Doom Eternal, Wolfenstein II The New Colossus and Wolfenstein Youngblood play really well. No major performance issues. Digital Foundry on YouTube have conducted extensive tests on these games. I would check them out.

I've checked every game including Valhalla and call of duty. None support 4k? Not even doom eternal upgrade to series x?

I just tried that,

So what I had to do was install both files, Battle something or the rather which would be the online mode.. (which Im not into) and then it has to install a 10+GB update and THEN I had to create a Bethesda account (which im not sure why as I don't like multiplayer)
and then it allowed me to select campaign..

What a head ache.
