How do I use my blue snowball ice microphone with my Xbox series x?

I have a microphone that only uses USB to power it, but it’s not working on my Xbox Series X. Is it possible for me to use the microphone?

Hello PuRe, usually in cases like this you have to check with the microphone manufacturer if it is compatible with the console.

Not directly but there is another way to help you. Search YouTube for ''How to Connect a Blue Snowball Microphone to Xbox One''. There are some instructions on how to use a USB microphone on the console.

Since the Blue Snowball is an USB microphone, it does NOT work with the Xbox One currently.

Only microphones that plug into the analogue 3.5mm jack of the controller will work. Also make sure, that when you want to use a standard 3.5mm jack microphone, that you will need an adapter that puts the microphone and ground contact at the correct position
with a CTIA adapter.

It depends on what your using it for and what your plugging it into?

Like PC you should have no issues, I have the Ice Blue snowball mic myself and I can have it plugged in and running no issue granted its going to another party such as OBS.
