I can't connect to a realm on bedrock edition, but any other online play is fine

Hey, here.

I am finding myself unable to connect to a Minecraft realm on Bedrock; whenever I try to join my friend's realm, it starts loading as normal, but then instead of connecting it sends me to a screen where it says I have "disconnected from server" and the only button sends me back to the online play screen. The first disconnect happened right after I went through a nether portal over 10 hours ago, and since then I have been unable to join due to the aforementioned error. I tried joining a public server, such as Mineplex or The Hive, and tried playing multiplayer on a personal survival world with a friended account. Both worked fine, and Java online play, realms included, were completely unaffected. Personal worlds work fine as well; the issue only ever occurs when connecting to this one realm. My other friends on the realm are able to join without issues. The problem has been entirely between me and Minecraft Bedrock realms.

Let it be noted that I do not have a realms subscription, but I have not needed one to play for the past few weeks. I do not own the realm, a friend does.

I have tried searching for several solutions, but none have applied. most are old reddit posts from 3 years ago or for similar problems, but none of the solutions have worked. Trouble-shooting methods have included restarting Minecraft and my pc, checking internet connections, logging out and back into my Xbox live account, my Microsoft account, the Minecraft launcher, and Minecraft Bedrock itself. None of these have availed to anything. I tried checking the restrictions of my Xbox account, but all the options for online play are allowed. I do not have a child account, and through some searching I found that my account is part of a Microsoft family comprised of only one member: myself. It's not an issue with a parental lock barring me from online play; again, I am still able to join public servers like Mineplex and The Hive. My Minecraft launcher is updated to the latest version, and so is my copy of Minecraft Bedrock, so it isn't an issue of playing in the wrong version.

Again, let me reiterate that I was playing fine until about 10 hours ago at the time of this post, when I got disconnected once after going through a nether portal and since then have not been able to rejoin the realm even after taking an hour break away from the computer for it to cool off and shut down. All online play works fine except for trying to join the Bedrock realm, which in itself cannot be the problem since my other friends can join fine. Any help would be appreciated, and if you have read to the end I hope that you may know a way to help me.
