    This has been an on going issue since 2013 from the looks of other threads. What will it take for Microsoft to allow users who willingly paid the $10 to actually change the capitalization of their gamertags? This is beyond ridiculous at this point. What exactly will it take because I’m getting tired of you people. This is a trillion dollar company who can’t seem to get the bare minimum right.

    ok well first of all you guys need to have a piece of mind before changing someone's gamer tag without telling them. If they take it offensive that's their problem not mine. if the name was inappropriate then why did it let me accept it. if you guys where

    Capitalization wouldn't be a change so the system still sees it as your gamer tag.

    I tried to change my gamertag for the first time free, but everytime i try it, it says: “Sorry we can’t check on gamertags right now, try again later” this has been a problem for several months now, and its kinda bothering me. Can someone help me

    Sorry to hear it. It looks like you've already created a personal gamertag as Eclipse5002 doesn't fit the pattern of system created tags. Also, a free change is only for a limited time and if the tag was created on the console. Otherwise you'll need to
