xbox live settings not showing up.

I am a child on a family account (14y) and have been told to mess with the family restriction settings to fix this by PARENT. I logged in as them, went to manage family members, privacy and online safety, and was told to go to xbox live settings. those where missing. I made sure my account was logged out, made sure the account had the highest authority possible, and still nothing.

it's just missing.

I was trying to play dead space 3 co-op, and this was never a problem for goat simulator dlc, so now I am confused as to WHY the settings are missing, WHY they are appearing, and WHY can't I fix them? I think the issue is it's and xbox 360 game, but when I use a UNRESTRICTED xbox 360 profile, there is no issues in downloading. do I need to access settings in the 360 menu on the xbox one?

it has been brought to my attention it may because we need family permission to make purchases for that account. I Belive this should be fixed effective SOON. (I ain't ever gonna get to play co-op at this rate.)

*edit* this could be fixed via an xbox one overlay that allows for the password/passkey to be entered like when you hit the "xbox Button" you see the xbox one system stuff, such as the recent games, my games and apps, and home tab. this may take some programming, but it will rid an issue that while few people have had, it's enough to matter.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for clarity on what's happening with the dashboard settings. The most recent update that has been going out has rearranged some of the settings. Personalization can now be found in
General settings on the right. If you do not see it there, I would suggest
updating your console at earliest convenience.

My hotspot worked great before XBOX live went down. Now it shows my wifi but says it cant connect to the internet or that my network isnt set up but it is set up...

Tested Xbox Live connection in Network Settings, everything passed, with all services showing up. Still getting spinning circles.

Do you mean that you have Xbox Live on your account, so you're wondering why it's not showing up on that Xbox, as it's set as your Home Xbox?
