I upgraded to series S. I installed and transferred my games onto a hard drive from my old host Xbox and then simply plugged the hard drive into the new series S. The game (F1 2022) did some further updates and when I tried to launch the game I got the error code 0x803f800d.

Other forums state to simply reboot the system. The error is popping up and I still have an active EA account as well an active Xbox live gold subscription.

Help.

Can you try clearing your system cache by performing a power cycle by following the steps below?

To do this:

For Xbox One:

- Go to the Home screen.

- Press the Menu button on the controller.

- Select Settings.

- Go to Sleep Mode & Start-Up

- Select Shut Down.

For Series X|S:

- Open Settings on Xbox.

- Select the General tab.

- Click on Power Options.

- Under the “Options” section, click the “Shutdown now” option.

- Click the “Shut down” button.

For BOTH methods, it is more affective by unplugging the power cord for 1 minute after sutting the console down.

Once done, power up the console and see if the issue continues.
