    I heart radio won't work in background!


    I have all generations (and variations) of xbox consoles and I used to enjoy listening to iheart radio in the background while playing games on my xbox one. Once I recieved a new series x I found at first the iheart app would crash instantly no matter what I did. Now months later it will work on it's own but crash if I try to run a game. Is anyone working on this issue? Tips?orTricks?maybe?

    Welcome to Xbox Community Forums. We appreciate for sharing your concern with us and we hope that you are doing well today.

    We understand the inconvenience caused. As per description, the IHeart Radio which you use as background while playing game crashed every time you start to play the game. It was working well with Xbox One, but this trouble comes on the new Xbox Series X.

    However, before we proceed, we would like to ask few questions about it.

    1. Does this happen with any other app that supports the background music feature, like Pandora or Spotify?
    2. Have you tried uninstalling the IHeart App and then reinstall it?
    This could be a problem with the app that could be fixed with future updates. As you mentioned that at first, it's not working at all but months later you noticed that it works but crashed when you run a game.

    Why no more downloading audio cds

    They are also supposed to add the ability to listen to music in the background in the future but only off of supported apps. I heart radio, Pandora, etc.

    Apps not working after latest update

    So I am having a similar issue with my apps, not sure if it's because the apps will be used for the background music in the future but here is my problem: I used to be able to use Pandora and I Heart Radio in the "snap an app" mode while playing a disc.
    After the update it no longer works. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem? Thanks!
