    my Xbox light is on but on my tv it says no signal


    I try turning on my Xbox after i have not used it for around a year, its a pretty old xbox 2013 version so i didnt expect it to work perfectly. My problem is when i turn it on my TV says no signal and ive tried plenty of methods from different TV's to different HDMI cables, but that's not even my only issue when i turn it on about a minute after being turned on it just shuts off. Any recommendations would be great.

    Hi,! I'm Luis, a fellow Xbox Gamer . Thanks for reaching us out here.

    Making a good cleaning would be ideal for starters. As for the no signal issue,

    Launch your Xbox One in Low-Resolution Mode. Press the Power button for 10 seconds until you hear a beep, wait 30 seconds, then press the Power and Eject buttons together for 15 seconds or until you hear another beep. Your Xbox One will now power on with its lowest possible resolution settings. This may bypass whatever glitch was giving you the ‘No Signal’ error.

    If this works, you should follow this up by opening the Guide and going to Settings > Display & sound > Video output to experiment with higher resolutions and see which setting works best with your TV.

    If it does not work then the console would most likely need to be serviced

    No Image or sound.

    I have unplugged everything and replugged everything but I'm still not getting any signal or sound. The Xbox360 fan turns on and the on button lights up but my tv says there is no signal and there is no sound.

    (I think my Xbox is the original white one).

    It would be nice if you could test your console on another TV.

    I say this because you need to know where the noise came from, if your console works on another tv, it means that the problem is with your tv.
