Question About Gifting Digital Xbox 360 Games

I was trying to find out some information but I was having trouble finding any answers. Is there any way I can gift a digital xbox 360 game to another account? And if not, is there any way I can purchase/gift a digital gift card to another account using my Microsoft points or current Microsoft balance?

It's not possible to gift 360 games. Unfortunately it's also not possible to purchase a gift card using funds from your Microsoft account.

My question is specifically about games that were originally on the original Xbox, not normal digital Xbox One games. Backward-compatible games such as these have different menu options, and "Buy as gift" is not among them.

To send game as digital gift, check the product page. Digital products that can be sent as a gift include the Buy as gift option.

If you are purchasing devices like Xbox console, surface pro they are limited to being used for them.

If you will be mainly using these on an Xbox console, then the Xbox gift card is perfect.
