Xbox mic only picking up voice

My xbox mic is working but only picks up my voice if it’s anything else it doesn’t pick it up, my controller is up to date and i’ve looked at tips in settings and it still doesn’t work. I’ve even got a new controller and mic but i’m having the same problem is there a fix?

Main button, go to the right on the system tab, and then enter the Audio option!

See if the mic is activated

And then put the audio monitoring louder than it is. Increase as you wish.

The higher it is, the more your microphone will be "sensitive" to picking up sounds.

But again, the mic has a voice capture software, not sounds like music and ambient noises ok?

I'm on xbox one s and i have a turtle beach headset

it picked up everything else but since the update it only picks up my voice
