Sacred 2: Fallen Angel and backwards compatibility

I ended up buying another disk. So now 2 copies of the game and still throwing up the same error.

I still get "sorry, this game isn't playable here" with a link to the compatibility page on Xbox One X and Xbox One (VCR).

Now 2 unplayable disks that work on a 360 but not XboxOne. I'm out of ideas.

Have you tried to insert the disc on a different Xbox One console or Xbox Series X|S console to test if it will work?

That's odd because it should work I was able to confirm it here.

In this case, kindly reset your console to factory default keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.

As long as the game is a backwards-compatible game it should work both digitally and physically.

If other 360 physical discs are working it means that it can be the disc of Sacred 2: Fallen Angel. Kindly clear the persistent storage of your Xbox One X then try again.

Press the Menu key on your controller.

Click Settings, then go to Disc & Blu-Ray.

Select Persistent Storage.

Click Clear Persistent Storage.

So it seems people buying digital editions are also having issues booting the game and being refunded. The only games I was waiting on was Sacred and Tenchu Z. I just bought a second hand 360 again for Tenchu... I guess this is how we live
